What is a TexStar Certified Vehicle?
What’s Covered?
The TexStar Certified Warranty covers the parts that make up some of your most important systems. It’s valid for a period of six months or 6,000 miles after you buy your used car. Some of the systems that fall under the warranty are:
- Engine cylinder block and all its internal lubricated parts, including timing gear, chain and belt, valve covers, intake and exhaust manifolds, oil pan, and engine mounts
- Transmission case and all its lubricated internal parts such as the torque converter, flex plate, vacuum modulator, and transmission mounts
- Transfer case and all its lubricated internal parts
- Air conditioning system parts such as the condenser, compressor, evaporator, and HVAC control head
